Tom Sawyer- he likes to get into trouble no matter what the punishment is. he does not like to go to church. he also likes to flirt with the girls.
Huck- he is the town pariah. his father is drunk and doesn't care for him and he is also motherless. Huck is friends with Tom and Joe Harper.
Joe Harper- he likes to hang out with Tom and Huck because he thinks he is cool that way.
Becky Thatcher- is Tom's little lover. she and tom sometimes make each other jealous just to get attention.
Injun Joe- like Huck is a pariah but an adult and mean. he does lots of terrible things and blames them on people who is with them.

the terrible trick
“Mom do we have to move?” I asked, “We have a perfectly fine house right here in Hawaii.”
“We have to Rachel.” Mom said, “I know your leaving all your friends behind, but think of it this way at least your helping your dad.”
I cant believe it I’ve lived my whole live here in Hawaii and now they’re ruining it. My little brother Max is probably all right with the move because he is only three and won’t go to preschool till next year.
“Rachel come on down we don’t want to leave with out you.” Mom called from what sounds liked the front yard.
“Come on Rachel its not like your going to stay up there the rest of your life, besides where we’re going there is still going to be lots of sun.” dad added, “while I was on my business trip I picked up a brochure for your new school.”
“That’s great dad, but I’m not going.” I called back.
“Max go up stairs and get your sister down here sh
“Rachey, Rachey, Rachey.” I heard Max chant while he tried to find me.
My mom was right I never say no to Max even when I here my mom or dad say that.
“Come Rachey, we leave.” Max said once he found me.
“Oh, all right I’ll come but only because of you.” I told him
“Yes” I heard my mom and dad say at the same time.
When I got out front with max in my arms my and dad were already in their seats. They decided to go on a fairy so we can keep our car when we move. I think the boat ride will be fine it’s the road trip that I won’t like.
“So about how long is this trip going to be?” I asked curious.
“Well about two hours to the ferry,” mom said “that is if we make it on time-“
“What do you mean by ‘If we make it on time’” I asked
“I mean it took you so long just to come out to the car we may not get to the ferry on time.” Mom said, “besides if we do make it it’s going to take two to four day at sea and who knows maybe you’ll make friends with your roommate.”
“Your telling me I’m going to have a roommate?” I asked “do you know what this means? It means if I do make another friend it will most likely be someone I’m going to have to say bye to.”
“Sweetheart there’s a small chance she could me going the same place a you.” My dad added.
“Yah, well I’m done talking about this.” I said, “wake me when we get there.”
I always go to sleep when I get mad. That’s just how I work.

“Rachel, sweetie we’re here.” Mom said, “ You have to get out”
“Where are we?” I asked
“We’re at the dock, you need to get out so that they can load the car.” Mom said, “Max and dad are buying you something to eat. I also asked about how long the ride is and they said about four and a half days if all goes well.”
“How am I supposed to make a friend in less than four and a half days.” I asked
“Well they will show you your room and sooner or later you will met your new friend.” Mom said
“Look who’s up Max.” dad said, “It’s Sleeping Beauty”
“Ah, you must be the flit family” a tall handsome man said
“That’s us,” dad told the, man, “Rachel sweetie take max.”
“Then in that case, Rachel please come with your brother onto the boat with me so I can show you around.” The man said, “By the way my name is Jeff.”
“Nice to meet you Jeff, my name is-“
“Rachel I know.”
“How?”
“It is my job to know about all the student passengers.”
“Oh.”
“This is your room do you think you would be able to find it again if I showed you the rest of the boat?”
“I think so”

“You must be Rachel” An unfamiliar voice said, “I’m Jessica, I will be your roommate for the boat ride.”
Great “Nice to meet you,” I said, “Where are you going”
“I’m going to a boarding school in Arizona, where are you going?”
“I’m moving to Arizona because my dad is switching jobs.”
“Oh, I’m sorry I bet that’s hard for you to do.”
“Yah well I’m going bed and you better not wake me in the morning.”
The next day I go looking for my mom and dad but can’t find them so I asked someone who works here and they said try to call them. When I did they were at our house in Hawaii with Max and said I am to go to the boarding school with the girl named Jessica.
The next time I saw here was at dinner because we’re supposed to sit next to each other. Which is kind of nice because I don’t know anyone else on the boat. This boat also turns out to have all girl teenagers who were all forced to go to the boarding school Arizona.
Jessica and me have become best friends and are hoping to be roommates in the school. We also want to have almost all the same classes.
Once we were in our room I asked, “so did your parents tell you that you were going to a boarding school or did they trick you too?”
“They have to trick us it’s the only way to get us on the boat, but between you and me this is my second year going to the school. So if you stay with me when ever possible you should be fine.”
“That’s good to know, if you know about it then why are you going back?”
“well after a while I kind of got used to it and apologized for my rude behavior to my mom and dad when I came back. I don’t know about you but I’m going to bed see you in the morning.”
I had a lot to think about tonight so I went to bed as well.

“Rachel welcome to The Arizona Boarding School,” jessica said as soon as we stepped of the bus.
“This is so amazing. Your right we should have been a little nicer to our parents.” I say “By the way I’ve been meaning to ask this, are we in the same grade or not? I’m in tenth grade.
“well if your in tenth grade then yes we are.” Jessica responded “don’t get to
excited though because here comes the bossy three”
“look who’s back it’s little Jessie and look she brought a new friend” the girl insulted. “I’m Kelly, this is Karen on my right and this is Katie on my left.”

the book choice
i would not agree to that because, if your only taking out ten words whats the point? if it was longer then a paragraph it would be fine for them to do that. I see what you mean about the TV because you have no control over who's watching it. for books it is different because parents can read it before they let there kids read it.

a christmas carol stave 4
Yes I do think that people do have the right to do so because if they don't they won't be as healthy. No, this should not be a primary basis, you should all think about others before you act for yourself. If you don't it would be a bad effect on the people that work and live with you. If this ever happened to me i would try everything i can to get them back.16 even if it takes a whole month if not longer.I will try not to risk my friendship with a little thing like a fight.

a christmas carol

Humbug, I hate Christmas its so merry and joyful. today my nephew came over and told me Merry Christmas then he said that I should come to dinner tomorrow to celebrate Christmas. after he left two other men came in and bid a Merry Christmas. they were asking me if I Scrooge would give some money for the poor. why would I give anyone any money in whatever the occasion. Then my employee wanted the day off of for Christmas. I couldn't believe my ears who would want Christmas off. so the next day he has to be here even earlier.

The Pearl
In the book The Pearl there are many traits for each character. here are some characteristics of Kino, Juana, the Neighbors, the doctor, the priest, and the townspeople. Kino has greed because he doesn't want to have the pearl fall into the wrong hands. Juana is scared because she the pearl is causing them danger. The neighbors are amazed because Kino found the pearl of the world, the doctor is blinded by the pearl and doesn't want anything else, the priest just want the pearl for money, and the townspeople are the same as the neighbors.
